Dilling:Four civilians, including a woman and a child, were killed in drone strikes by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in the city of Dilling, located in Sudan's South Kordofan state, as reported by a local medical group.
According to Anadolu Agency, the Sudan Doctors Network stated that the attacks targeted residential areas, urging the UN and international humanitarian organizations to hold those responsible accountable.
The RSF has not yet commented on the report, though Sudanese authorities and human rights groups have consistently accused the RSF of targeting civilians, allegations which the RSF denies.
The Kordofan region, comprising North, West, and South Kordofan, has experienced ongoing clashes between the army and the RSF since October 2025. Previously, the UN reported that 1,100 civilians were killed in drone attacks in Sudan from January to June of this year.
Sudan has been mired in conflict between the army and the RSF since April 2023, due to disputes over the integration of the paramilitary force into the regular military. The conflict has resulted in tens of thousands of deaths and displaced approximately 13 million people, based on UN and international estimates.
