Saudi arabia: Saudi Arabia announced that its air defenses intercepted a ballistic missile and 24 drones targeting its territory, amidst growing regional tensions. The Defense Ministry stated that the missile, aimed at the central province of Al-Kharj, was successfully shot down.

According to Anadolu Agency, the ministry also reported that 24 drones were intercepted and destroyed in the Eastern Province since early Tuesday. The origin of these projectiles remains unspecified.

The escalation in regional tensions follows a joint offensive by the US and Israel on Iran on February 28, which resulted in approximately 1,300 casualties, including Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. In response, Tehran launched drone and missile strikes against Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and several Gulf countries, targeting what it claims are 'US military assets.' These retaliations have caused casualties, infrastructure damage, and disruptions in global markets and aviation.

An Anadolu tally indicates that Iran has launched at least 3,955 missiles and drones in retaliation to the US-Israeli strikes. The UAE has been the most targeted, followed by Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan, with Oman facing the least attacks.
