Saudi Arabia Lifts Warnings for Najran and As-Sulayyil

Najran:Saudi Arabia The Civil Defense of Saudi Arabia issued warnings for the southwestern city of Najran and the As-Sulayyil governorate in the south-central region of the kingdom. Shortly thereafter, authorities announced that the danger had subsided in both areas.

According to Anadolu Agency, the warnings were communicated through the kingdom's National Early Warning Platform, advising residents to adhere to Civil Defense instructions. Following the issuance of the all-clear notices for the affected regions, residents were urged to continue observing safety guidelines and to refrain from gathering or filming.

The authorities did not provide details on the specific threat that led to the warnings, nor did they confirm whether any projectiles had been intercepted. The Civil Defense also cautioned that filming, publishing, or sharing information about missile and drone countermeasures and impact sites could lead to legal repercussions.

These alerts occurred amid rising tensions between Saudi Arabia and Yemen's Houthi group, which has conducted missile and drone attacks targeting the kingdom. Saudi authorities have recently issued a series of emergency warnings in the southern and southwestern areas amid this escalation.
