Aden: A ship sank after being targeted by a drone boat off southwestern Yemen, the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) center said on Wednesday. The incident occurred 9 nautical miles southwest of Yemen's Al Mukha and was reported on Tuesday via the US social media platform X.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Chief Security Officer (CSO) of the vessel reported that the ship was attacked by an uncrewed surface vessel, which led to a fire onboard. The crew of the ship was successfully rescued by local authorities and is confirmed to be safe.
