Ankara: Silence over occupation and genocide in Palestine has empowered Israel's actions in Iran, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in a phone call, stated Trkiye's Communications Directorate on X. Erdogan expressed concerns about Israel's actions in Iran, emphasizing their negative impact on regional security.

According to Anadolu Agency, Erdogan described Israel's attacks on Iran as "unacceptable" and warned that they pose a threat to global stability and security. He stressed that these actions by Israel have seriously damaged regional security and undermine efforts to reach a resolution on Iran's nuclear program.

Erdogan further highlighted the importance of not allowing Israel to use these attacks to overshadow the ongoing genocide in Gaza. He urged for attention to be maintained on the situation in Gaza and called for international efforts to address these issues.
