Sweden: Sweden summoned Russian Ambassador Sergey Belyaev to condemn Russia's recent missile attacks on the Ukrainian cities of Sumy and Kryvyi Rih and to urge an end to the conflict, the Foreign Ministry stated. According to Anadolu Agency, Belyaev was summoned following Russia's claims of conducting deadly strikes on Ukrainian military command sites, resulting in numerous fatalities. Sweden's Foreign Minister Maria Stenergard emphasized that Russia's continued aggression was inconsistent with the actions of a nation seeking peace. Stenergard called on Moscow to cease hostilities, stating, "The Swedish Government calls on Russia to immediately withdraw all of its troops from Ukrainian territory. The Swedish government wants a just and lasting peace in Ukraine and will continue to support it for as long as necessary." Russia's Defense Ministry reported that its forces launched an Iskander-M missile strike in Sumy on Sunday, targeting a meeting of Ukrainian military commanders. A similar attack was claimed in Kryvyi Rih on Ukrainian officers and Western military instructors. Ukraine's State Emergency Service reported significant casualties, with at least 35 civilians killed and 117 injured in the Sumy strike, and 19 casualties in Kryvyi Rih.
