Damascus: A Syrian official announced that security forces are set to enter Qamishli, located in the Al-Hasakah province in northeastern Syria, following an agreement with the YPG/SDF organization. This development marks a significant step in the execution of the deal aimed at reintegrating various security factions. According to Anadolu Agency, Hasakah's Internal Security Commander Marwan al-Ali revealed details of the agreement to Alikhbaria TV shortly after security forces began moving into the area. Al-Ali stated that several vehicles and personnel from the Interior Ministry entered Hasakah, with plans for additional forces to advance into Qamishli. A specific timeline for the full deployment was not disclosed. Al-Ali confirmed that Asayish forces, along with other SDF-affiliated security units, will be incorporated into the Interior Ministry's framework as part of the agreement's execution. He emphasized the decision to keep journalists out of Hasakah for safety and to prevent any provocations due to t he uncertain situation. The entry of internal security forces into Al-Hasakah was reportedly met with a positive reception from local residents. An Anadolu correspondent noted that the convoy included armored personnel carriers, four-wheel-drive vehicles, ambulances, and mobile communication units, all heading toward the center of Hasakah. Additionally, these forces have entered the village of Shuyukh, south of the Ayn al-Arab district. The deployment follows the government's announcement of a comprehensive agreement with the SDF, aimed at resolving the country's divisions and paving the way for a new era of integration.
