Ankara:On Sunday, T¼rkiye paid tribute to Azerbaijani soldiers who lost their lives in the Karabakh conflict, in observance of Azerbaijan's Remembrance Day.

According to Anadolu Agency, Communications Director Burhanettin Duran highlighted the fight for Karabakh as a significant demonstration of courage, sacrifice, and patriotism, deeply embedded in recent historical memory.

Duran expressed his respect for those who died "for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of their homeland" and extended gratitude to the veterans. He underscored the deep ties between T¼rkiye and Azerbaijan, referencing the principle of "two states, one nation."

He further stated, "May our bond of affection, common history and brotherhood with brotherly Azerbaijan, with whom we are united in joy and sorrow, endure forever."
