Ardabil: Three people were killed and three others were injured in US-Israeli attacks on Ardabil province in northwestern Iran, where Iranians of Azerbaijani origin mostly reside, according to Tasnim News Agency.

Ardabil Deputy Gov. Ebrahim Emami stated that the casualties resulted from attacks by the US and Israel on the districts of Germi and Jafarabad. The region, inhabited predominantly by Azerbaijanis, has been a focal point of tension amid the ongoing conflict.

Meanwhile, an MQ-9 unmanned aerial vehicle was shot down in the Iranian city of Isfahan, which has also faced US-Israeli attacks.

According to Anadolu Agency, Tasnim published a statement by the central provincial headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, confirming the drone's destruction. The statement highlighted that since the war began on February 28, when the US and Israel initiated attacks against Iran, the Revolutionary Guards have downed over 160 drones.
