Ankara: In the presence of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, eight agreements were signed between the two countries on Thursday. The leaders chaired the 10th meeting of the Trkiye-Qatar High Strategic Committee at the presidential complex in the capital. According to Anadolu Agency, the agreements include a Cooperation Agreement in the Field of Humanitarian Assistance, a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Fields of Documents and Archives, and a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Media and Communication. Additionally, an Implementation Program for the Years 2025-2026 in the Fields of Youth and Sports was also agreed upon. Further agreements comprised a Cooperation Agreement in the Field of International Road Passenger and Goods Transport and a Declaration of Intent on Facilitating Trade. The meeting also resulted in a Technical Cooperation Agreement and a Military Cooperation Agreement between the Ministries of Defen se. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Qatari counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani signed the declaration of the 10th Trkiye-Qatar High Strategic Committee meeting, highlighting the ongoing collaboration between both nations.
