ANKARA: Trkiye’s Foreign Ministry has announced that the country remains committed to combating all forms of discrimination, as emphasized in the declaration adopted at the 10th Global Forum of the UN Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC).

According to Anadolu Agency, the declaration underscores the importance of dialogue and interaction among different cultures to foster peaceful and harmonious coexistence. It reaffirms the commitment to continue fighting against racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia, religious intolerance, and all manifestations of discrimination.

The declaration further emphasizes that violent extremism should not be linked to any religion, nationality, civilization, or ethnic group. Trkiye’s Foreign Ministry stressed that the nation will persist in its efforts to counter all forms of discrimination, with a particular focus on combating Islamophobia on a global level, while continuing to support the Alliance of Civilizations.
