Ankara: Trkiye's Foreign Ministry on Monday strongly condemned Israeli attacks targeting Syria's Quneitra and Daraa provinces, saying the strikes violated Syria's territorial integrity, unity, and sovereignty.
According to Anadolu Agency, the ministry stated that these attacks also constituted a violation of international law and the 1974 Disengagement Agreement. The statement, shared on Turkish social media platform NSosyal, emphasized the disregard for the safety of the Syrian people and their property, further exacerbating the lives of civilians in the region.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry urged the international community to fulfill its responsibilities to halt attacks that threaten Syria's progress since December 2024 and undermine regional stability.
