Trkiye to Continue Highlighting Realities in Gaza, Says President

Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced that Trkiye will persist in revealing the truths regarding the situation in Gaza, where a three-phase ceasefire began on January 19. This declaration was made during a meeting with Hamas Shura Council Chairman Muhammad Darwish at the presidential complex in Ankara.

According to Anadolu Agency, President Erdogan expressed optimism for the successful execution of the remaining phases of the truce. The ultimate goal is to achieve the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza and initiate reconstruction efforts. Erdogan commended the Palestinian group's resilience during their 471-day struggle in Gaza, emphasizing that the spirit of resistance will continue.

The conflict has resulted in the deaths of over 47,000 people, predominantly women and children, since October 7, 2023, leaving Gaza severely devastated. The meeting was attended by Trkiye's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalin, the president's chief adviser Akif Cagatay Kilic, and other officials.
