Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index opened the last trading day of the week at a new all-time high of 12,924.20 points, marking an increase of 0.57%, or 72.70 points, from the previous close.

According to Anadolu Agency, on Thursday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 had risen by 0.97%, closing at 12,851.49 points with a daily transaction volume of 219.8 billion liras, equivalent to $5.07 billion.

At 09:50 am local time (0650GMT), exchange rates were reported as 43.3670 liras per US dollar, 50.9625 per euro, and 58.5560 per British pound. The price of an ounce of gold was $4,952.15, while Brent crude oil was trading at $64 per barrel.
