Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100, concluded Thursday at 13,878.54 points, marking a 0.5% increase from the previous day.

According to Anadolu Agency, the index began the day at 13,780.07 points, gaining 68.66 points from Wednesday's closure. The index experienced a low of 13,652.39 and reached a daily peak of 13,906.13.

The total market value of the BIST 100 stood at approximately 13.76 trillion Turkish liras, equivalent to $314.4 billion, with a trading volume of 170 billion liras or $3.88 billion. Out of the stocks listed, 60 experienced a rise while 37 saw a decline in comparison to the previous close.

In commodities, gold was priced at $5,165.30 per ounce, and Brent crude oil was trading at $71.70 per barrel as of 6.45 pm local time (1545GMT). The exchange rates were recorded with the US dollar at 43.8850 Turkish liras, the euro at 51.8690 liras, and the British pound at 59.4740 liras.
