The Hague: The head of Trkiye's Defense Industries Secretariat highlighted the Turkish defense industry's agility, speed, and capacity to scale up, which have gained significant recognition within NATO, even at the highest levels. Attending a NATO summit, Haluk Gorgun noted that the industry's capabilities have raised awareness at the NATO Secretary General level, especially in the current global context.

According to Anadolu Agency, Gorgun mentioned that Turkish defense companies have been actively participating in NATO summits for the past two years. The secretariat has established a dedicated unit to enhance the involvement and visibility of Turkish companies in NATO activities. This involvement includes leading several NATO working groups, such as the supply chain security sub-group, and encouraging Turkish companies to participate in joint projects and procurement processes.
