Ankara: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov engaged in a phone conversation on Thursday, focusing on recent developments in Syria.

According to Anadolu Agency, the discussion emphasized the necessity of eliminating terrorist organizations from Syria. The ministers also highlighted the importance of establishing stability and security in the country, which has been affected by ongoing conflict.

A new administration has been established in Syria following the collapse of the Bashar al-Assad regime last month.
