Trkiye’s President Erdogan, Iranian Counterpart Discuss Regional Global Issues

Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian on Saturday discussed regional and global issues, as well as bilateral relations between the two countries in a phone call, according to the country's Communications Directorate.

According to Anadolu Agency, Erdogan emphasized that efforts would continue in the coming period to further develop relations between Ankara and Tehran. The conversation reflects ongoing diplomatic engagement between the neighboring countries, aiming to address mutual interests and challenges within the region.

During the call, the Turkish leader also extended his congratulations to Pezeshkian on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, signifying a gesture of goodwill and cultural respect. The discussions underscore the importance both nations place on maintaining strong diplomatic ties and cooperation on various fronts.
