Trkiye’s Togg to Start Pre-Orders for Fully Electric T10F After April

Ankara: Trkiye's electric vehicle manufacturer Togg is set to initiate pre-orders for its fully electric fastback sedan, the T10F. The vehicle was unveiled at CES 2024 in Las Vegas last year, and the pre-orders are scheduled to start after April-May, as stated by Fuat Tosyali, the chairman of Togg's board.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Togg T10F is equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which utilize an online infrastructure to receive constant updates, allowing the system to evolve. The T10F will be available in three different configurations: a standard range model with a rear-wheel drive (RWD) drivetrain, a long-range RWD model, and an all-wheel drive (AWD) dual-engine model. The RWD variant will offer a range of over 350 kilometers and up to 600 kilometers, with a 160 kilowatt/218 horsepower engine delivering 350 Newton meters of torque. The AWD version will produce 700 nm of torque and provide a range of up to 530 kilometers.

The standard RWD configuration will have a battery capacity of 52.5 kilowatt-hours, while the long-range model will feature an 88.5 kilowatt-hour battery. Fuat Tosyali emphasized that Togg is gearing up for sales in the European market due to strong demand and increased production capabilities. He mentioned that Togg has already reached 50,000 users in Trkiye and aims to boost production to 60,000 units this year, with potential exports to Europe by the year's end.

Tosyali also highlighted Togg's competitive edge in the Turkish EV market, noting that the company outsells the combined total of four to five other brands in the sector. He attributed Togg's success to its alignment with Turkish customer demands, which has enabled the brand to maintain its leadership in the market.
