Ankara:US President Donald Trump criticized Fox News on Tuesday for giving airtime to Democratic and independent candidates, accusing the network of promoting his political opponents over Republicans.

According to Anadolu Agency, Trump highlighted specific interviews, mentioning Democratic candidate Abdul El-Sayed and independent Senate candidate Dan Osborn as examples of Fox News giving favorable coverage to his political rivals.

Trump expressed his discontent on his Truth Social platform, stating that Fox News is promoting Democrats rather than supporting Republicans and the MAGA movement. He further questioned Fox News's decision to conduct a long-form interview with Osborn, who is challenging Republican Senator Pete Ricketts of Nebraska.

He lamented that the media does not provide positive exposure or airtime to Republicans, asserting that his three presidential victories, including the last one by a landslide, were achieved despite this lack of support.
