Trump Declares ‘Power Plant Day and Bridge Day’ Amid Escalating Conflict with Iran

Washington: US President Donald Trump warned that Tuesday 'will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day' in the ongoing US-Israeli war on Iran, adding that Tehran must open up the Strait of Hormuz or 'you'll be living in Hell.'

According to Anadolu Agency, Trump made these statements on his Truth Social platform, indicating his threats to target Iran's infrastructure. He emphasized, "Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!!"

Trump further stated that Iran must open up the Strait of Hormuz, asserting, "or you'll be living in Hell - JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah." The tensions in the region have been rising since the US and Israel initiated a joint offensive against Iran on February 28, resulting in over 1,340 deaths, including that of then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

In response, Tehran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, as well as neighboring countries such as Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf nations that host US military assets. Additionally, Iran has imposed restrictions on the movement of ships through the strategic Strait of Hormuz.
