Washington:US President Donald Trump announced that he will personally finance a $20 million advertising campaign for 'Patriotic Ads' after facing backlash for initially planning to use taxpayer money for the initiative.

According to Anadolu Agency, Trump revealed his decision on his Truth Social platform, stating that the use of government funds for such advertising is quite standard. However, he opted to alter the funding source due to criticism from what he referred to as "the Radical Left."

Trump clarified that, despite the standard practice of using government money, he will fund the ads himself and with contributions raised for MAGA, Inc. The advertising campaign includes voiceover messages from Trump, promoting the fight against socialism and communism and highlighting the revival of American manufacturing under his leadership.

The campaign also features messages where Trump vows to 'liberate America' from political opponents and the press, emphasizing his commitment to his supporters.
