Turkish Foreign Minister Joins Regional Summit in Albania

Tirana: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Monday attended the summit of Heads of State and Government of the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) in Albania. The summit, organized by the Albanian Presidency under the theme "Promoting Stability and Prosperity through Regional Cooperation and EU Integration," saw participation from heads of state and government, foreign ministers from the SEECP's 13 participating countries, and European Union representatives.

According to Anadolu Agency, on the margins of the summit, Fidan also met with Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, as noted in a post on X by the Turkish Foreign Ministry. The gathering focused on regional cooperation, with an emphasis on sustainable development, security, stability, and prosperity.

The summit declaration is expected to highlight the importance of regional cooperation and ownership in achieving these goals. It will also address Turkey's efforts towards ending the Russia-Ukraine war, expressing satisfaction with these initiatives.
