Turkish Foreign Policy Emerges as Influential Force in Global System

Ankara: Trkiye's foreign policy under President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has moved beyond being a regional actor to become one of the influential forces in the global system, the country's head of communications said Wednesday.

According to Anadolu Agency, Burhanettin Duran, in a post on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal, highlighted Trkiye's strategic position and international standing, as evidenced by Ankara's hosting of the 36th NATO Heads of State and Government Summit. Duran described the summit as marking a "historic process" in which NATO discusses a new vision set to shape the parameters of the global security architecture.

Duran emphasized that the "NATO 3.0" vision, which aims to bolster Europe's role in defense, places Trkiye at the center of this transformation. He noted that Trkiye plays a pivotal role with its intellectual and military capacity.

Moreover, Duran pointed out that Trkiye is enhancing its defense industry while simultaneously acting as "the voice of the global conscience" for peace in regions like Gaza and Lebanon, urging all actors to assume responsibility. He asserted that the stance demonstrated in Ankara reaffirms Trkiye's decisive position in global diplomacy and its commitment to building a just world order.
