Istanbul: Turkish Communications Director Burhanettin Duran on Thursday highlighted growing cooperation between Trkiye and Saudi Arabia in transportation, logistics and regional connectivity, describing it as a reflection of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's diplomatic vision.

According to Anadolu Agency, Duran emphasized Trkiye's historical position as a key junction of major trade routes that link continents, underscoring its ongoing role in regional connectivity and economic cooperation. In a statement shared on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal, Duran stated that the collaboration between Trkiye and Saudi Arabia symbolizes the visionary diplomacy advanced by President Erdogan.

Duran noted that modern transportation corridors, once the lifelines connecting ancient civilizations, are now pivotal in promoting trade, development, and prosperity. He highlighted that the development of alternative transport routes in response to regional crises is enhancing bilateral cooperation between Trkiye and Saudi Arabia while also contributing to regional stability and economic continuity.

Underlining the leadership of President Erdogan, Duran affirmed Trkiye's commitment to bolstering regional connectivity and creating new opportunities grounded in mutual benefit, cooperation, and shared development.
