Turkish President and Malaysian Premier Discuss Bilateral Ties and Regional Developments

Ankara: Trkiye's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Malaysia's Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim held a phone conversation on Thursday, where they discussed the progress of bilateral ties and addressed pressing regional and global developments.

According to Anadolu Agency, Erdogan highlighted the robust cooperation between Trkiye and Malaysia, noting that it is advancing well across all sectors. He emphasized ongoing efforts to further bolster these relations. During the discussion, Erdogan expressed concern over the conflict that originated in Iran and has since affected the broader region. He warned that an extended conflict might result in more complex challenges for the region.

Erdogan further stated that Trkiye is actively pursuing diplomatic engagements and will maintain peace-focused dialogue with various leaders to address these issues.
