Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev discussed bilateral ties and regional issues in a phone call, as announced by Trkiye's Communications Directorate.

According to Anadolu Agency, President Erdogan congratulated President Tokayev on the Kurultai elections held on August 23, highlighting the high voter turnout as a sign of public support for ongoing reforms. Erdogan emphasized that Trkiye is committed to further developing its relations with Kazakhstan in the future.
