Ankara: Turkish National Defense Minister Yasar Guler met with Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani in Ankara on Tuesday. The meeting was part of the Qatari minister’s official visit to Trkiye, aimed at strengthening defense ties between the two nations.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced on the national social media platform NSosyal that Minister Guler hosted Minister Al Thani for the crucial discussions. The two ministers initially held a one-on-one meeting to discuss bilateral defense cooperation before proceeding to lead talks between their respective delegations.

The interdelegation meeting was also attended by Turkish Deputy Defense Ministers Alpaslan Kavaklioglu and Musa Heybet. These high-level discussions underscore the ongoing collaboration and strategic partnership between Turkey and Qatar in the defense sector.
