Ankara: The Turkish social media platform, Next Sosyal, has surpassed 1 million users, the chairman of the TEKNOFEST Executive Board and the Board of Trustees of the Trkiye Technology Team Foundation announced on his account on Saturday.

According to Anadolu Agency, Selcuk Bayraktar stated, "Trkiye's most social platform, NSosyal, has surpassed 1 million users." The announcement comes after the release of the platform's beta version, which was launched on July 4. Developed under the leadership of the T3 Foundation, the platform is known for providing a clean and secure social media experience.

Next Sosyal has recently become the most popular free app in the "social network" category on mobile stores. Since its beta launch, it has grown rapidly, exceeding 1 million users and demonstrating the potential of local technologies in the social media sector.

The platform allows users to freely express their thoughts and is mainly designed for sharing content related to news, technology, lifestyle, and current events. Notably, Next Sosyal is free of misinformation, profanity, bot accounts, and manipulative algorithms, distinguishing itself with AI integration. The Turkish large language model T3 AI, developed in collaboration between the T3 Foundation and Baykar, enhances engagement by responding swiftly to user-tagged posts.

Moreover, applications developed by young programmers enhance the platform's reliability through features such as misinformation detection.
