Istanbul: The Turkish benchmark stock index concluded Tuesday's trading session at 9,134.68 points, marking an increase of 0.25% from the previous day's close.

According to Anadolu Agency, the BIST 100 index, which commenced the day at 9,109.68, saw a gain of 22.49 points compared to Monday's closing figure. Throughout the day, the index experienced a low of 9,105.43 points and reached a high of 9,228.43 points.

On Tuesday, 58 indexes saw an increase in value, while 39 finished the day with losses. The total transaction volume was 83.6 billion Turkish liras, equivalent to approximately $2.16 billion. The overall market value of the index stood at 8.32 trillion liras, or about $216.25 billion.

The exchange rates at 6.20 p.m. local time (1520GMT) were noted as USD/TRY at 38.6110, EUR/TRY at 43.8690, and GBP/TRY at 51.6720.
