Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index opened Wednesday at 10,140.22 points, marking a rise of 0.18% or 18.46 points from the previous close. On Tuesday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index experienced a notable increase of 1.24%, concluding the day at 10,121.77 points. The daily transaction volume reached 110 billion Turkish liras, equivalent to $3.07 billion.

According to Anadolu Agency, the foreign exchange rates were observed with the USD/TRY at 35.7645 as of 9.50 am (0650GMT), the EUR/TRY at 37.3430, and the GBP/TRY trading at 44.5585. Additionally, the price of one ounce of gold was reported at $2,760.40, while Brent crude oil was priced at approximately $76.30 per barrel.
