Ankara: United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is set to embark on an official visit to Trkiye on Wednesday, following an invitation from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. This visit marks a significant step in bilateral relations as the leaders convene for the inaugural meeting of the Trkiye-UAE High-Level Strategic Council.
According to Anadolu Agency, the High-Level Strategic Council was established in 2023, and this meeting represents its first official session. During the discussions at the presidential complex in Ankara, both nations aim to explore avenues for deepening their strategic partnership. The agenda will also cover current regional and global issues, as noted by Turkish Communications Director Burhanettin Duran on X.
