Jazan:The UK Embassy in Saudi Arabia has issued a security alert cautioning British nationals about ongoing missile and drone attacks in the kingdom, which have been targeting cities, airports, military sites, and energy infrastructure.

According to Anadolu Agency, the embassy's statement urged British citizens to keep up with the latest travel guidance from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), enroll in official alerts, and adhere to instructions from Saudi authorities.

Furthermore, the embassy advised against filming, publishing, or sharing information related to conflict incidents and recommended being aware of nearby shelters.

This warning comes amid increased regional tensions and a series of Houthi attacks on Saudi territory. Earlier on Tuesday, Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation reported that attacks on airports in the southern cities of Jazan and Najran resulted in three injuries.

Yemen is also experiencing intensified conflict between the Houthis and forces aligned with the internationally recognized government, in addition to military actions by the Saudi-led coalition.
