Rome: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Rome ahead of the fourth conference focused on the reconstruction of Ukraine, which has been severely impacted by the ongoing conflict with Russia. As part of his visit, Zelenskyy is scheduled to meet with Italy's President Sergio Mattarella and Pope Leo XIV.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Ukrainian leader's agenda also includes a meeting with Keith Kellogg, the US Special Envoy for Ukraine. The Italian capital will host the 4th Ukraine Recovery Conference from July 10 to 11, aiming to address both the immediate recovery needs and the long-term reconstruction efforts required in Ukraine.

Zelenskyy and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni are set to inaugurate the event, which is part of broader political engagements aimed at accelerating Ukraine's recovery since the war began in February 2022. The event aims to bring together international stakeholders committed to supporting Ukraine's reconstruction.

The previous Ukraine Recovery Conference was held in Berlin in June 2024, highlighting the continued international focus on Ukraine's situation. In addition to the conference, Zelenskyy announced a forthcoming meeting in Rome of the 'coalition of the willing,' expected to take place in the coming days.
