Ankara: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that he held 'coordination' calls with French President Emmanuel Macron and US President Donald Trump. The announcement was made on Wednesday following the conclusion of a three-day G7 summit in the French commune of Evian-les-Bains.
According to Anadolu Agency, Zelenskyy shared on the US social media platform X that these discussions were 'important coordination calls that can bring about significant change.' He mentioned that the talks included a review of outcomes from the recent G7 Summit. Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to Trump for his attention and willingness to assist Ukraine in its pursuit of peace.
Zelenskyy also thanked Macron for organizing the G7 summit and for his consistent joint efforts. He emphasized the need for strengthening Ukraine's cooperation and diplomatic prospects, reiterating the country's commitment to achieving peace.
