Mesa: US authorities announced federal charges Tuesday against a suspect accused of setting fire to a Tesla Cybertruck outside a dealership in Arizona. They called the attack part of a broader campaign of "domestic terrorism." The suspect, identified as Ian Moses, 35, was arrested by Mesa police on Monday after officers responded to reports of an explosion and found a Cybertruck engulfed in flames.

According to Anadolu Agency, US Attorney General Pamela Bondi confirmed the charges. 'If you engage in domestic terrorism, this Department of Justice will find you, follow the facts, and prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law. No negotiating,' she wrote on X.

This case is part of a broader pattern of coordinated attacks and vandalism targeting Tesla properties for anger aimed at CEO Elon Musk's involvement in politics. Bondi has characterized the attacks as "nothing short of domestic terrorism" and has launched a task force to address the violence.
