Bushehr: A US-Israeli attack targeted an industrial methanol production complex in Dayyer port in Iran’s Bushehr province on Friday evening, according to the semi-official Tasnim News Agency on Saturday.

According to Anadolu Agency, the attack involved two projectiles that struck the pier of the Kaveh Petrochemical methanol facility in the Dayyer area, resulting in damage to the pier’s control room. Despite the assault, initial reports indicated that the methanol production facilities themselves were not damaged, and the main units of the complex continued to operate without disruption.

The agency also noted that no casualties were reported in the attack. The US and Israel have been conducting airstrikes on Iran since February 28, which have resulted in the death of over 1,340 people, including then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

In retaliation, Iran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting Israel and other regions, including Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets. These retaliatory strikes have caused casualties, damage to infrastructure, and disruption to global markets and aviation.
