US to Send More Troops and Aircraft to Israel Amid Rising Tensions

Ankara:The US is preparing to deploy additional troops and aircraft to Israel in anticipation of potential escalations in the Middle East. This move follows reports from Israeli media stating that approximately 3,000 US troops are already stationed in Israel, performing various duties including air defense operations, logistics, and support roles.

According to Anadolu Agency, The anticipated troop and aircraft reinforcements are part of broader US military preparations as tensions increase, particularly with Iran. The deployment is linked to recent military activities and concerns about possible Iranian missile threats. Israeli military officials are reportedly continuing their preparations for potential confrontations with Iran, focusing on strategies for broader conflicts and possible targets within Iran.

The report also highlighted continued military coordination between Israel and the US Central Command (CENTCOM) to address scenarios involving Iran. This development coincides with remarks from Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, signaling Iran's willingness to negotiate diplomatically for a fair resolution, despite disagreements with the US over the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

In addition to the situation with Iran, Israeli assessments suggest that the ongoing conflict with Yemen's Houthi group could influence regional alliances. There is concern about the impact on collaborations between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates against the Houthis and implications for regional dynamics, including Lebanon and Iranian influence.

The conflict in Yemen has intensified, with the Houthis gaining control of strategic locations, prompting discussions on regional military alliances and strategies.
