US Vice President JD Vance Rules Out Endless War in Iran

Washington:US Vice President JD Vance has categorically ruled out the possibility of a prolonged conflict in Iran, expressing his belief that President Donald Trump will successfully meet the administration's goals in the region.

According to Anadolu Agency – English, Vance stated in an interview with Fox News that despite ongoing challenges, President Trump will not allow the situation to escalate into an endless war. He emphasized the administration's commitment to achieving America's objectives and then shifting focus to other priorities.

Vance's comments come amidst heightened tensions following a conflict that began on February 28 when the United States and Israel conducted strikes against Iran. This led to retaliatory actions by Tehran targeting US and Israeli positions across various Arab nations.

The US and Iran had previously signed a framework agreement in June, initiating negotiations that later faltered due to disagreements over navigation rights and security in the Strait of Hormuz, a critical passage for global trade.
