Kyiv: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a "new chance to finish this war" after meetings in Kyiv with national security advisors from member states of the Coalition of the Willing. The discussions focused on security guarantees, rebuilding efforts, and establishing a framework for achieving peace.

According to Anadolu Agency, Zelenskyy detailed that the meetings involved Ukraine's negotiating team and 18 international participants. The next steps involve a meeting of chiefs of general staff on Monday and a leaders-level meeting in Paris on Tuesday, followed by a joint meeting with United States representatives.

Rustem Umerov, secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, stated that national security advisers from a range of countries and institutions, including NATO and the European Commission, participated in an intensive working day. The meetings focused on security, economic issues, and coordination on framework documents aimed at ensuring decisions are both realistic and backed by shared responsibility.

Following the talks, Ukrainian Chief of General Staff Andrii Hnatov revealed that Kyiv had engaged in bilateral discussions with the United States, agreeing on a military document outlining support for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This includes supply, restoration, modernization, and mechanisms for compliance monitoring.

First Deputy Foreign Minister Serhii Kyslytsia indicated that national security advisers will brief their leaders before the Paris meeting, with political approval of key elements anticipated soon. Kyslytsia assured that draft texts do not compromise Ukraine's constitutional order or sovereignty.

Presidential adviser Oleksandr Bevz reported no differences with partners on safeguarding Ukraine's interests, with no issues arising in discussions about territorial matters or the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. These diplomatic efforts are part of ongoing US-mediated negotiations aimed at resolving the nearly four-year-long conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

Zelenskyy expressed gratitude for the diplomatic support from partner states and their leaders, emphasizing their "consistent support" in finding a path to peace.
