Dnipro: The death toll from Monday's Russian airstrikes on several cities in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region rose to six, local authorities said on Tuesday. Dnipropetrovsk Governor Serhiy Lysak reported that the body of a third child was found under the rubble in the city of Kryvyi Rih, raising the total number of fatalities from the strike to four. "The search and rescue operation has been completed," Lysak added. According to Anadolu Agency, earlier reports from Lysak indicated that the bodies of a woman and two children had been discovered overnight under the rubble at the attack site, which targeted a five-story building in Kryvyi Rih. The airstrikes resulted in the destruction of apartments from the first to the fifth levels, and 14 individuals sustained injuries during the attack. Alongside the developments in Kryvyi Rih, Lysak also mentioned airstrikes on the cities of Nikopol and Marhanets that resulted in the deaths of two people and injuries to five others. Two of those injured are reported to be in serious condition. The attack caused damage to a medical facility, an industrial enterprise, two educational institutions, and three high-rise buildings. On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry released a statement claiming its forces had targeted and damaged military airfield infrastructure, workshops, storage facilities, a missile testing site, and a logistics center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the airstrikes. However, the statement did not specifically mention the strikes in Kryvyi Rih and Nikopol.
