Jokic’s Triple-Double Propels Nuggets to Victory Over Hawks

DENVER: Denver Nuggets' Serbian center Nikola Jokic delivered a remarkable performance with a triple-double in just 30 minutes, steering his team to a 139-120 triumph over the Atlanta Hawks in an NBA match on Thursday.

According to Anadolu Agency, Jokic accumulated 23 points, 17 rebounds, and 15 assists at Denver's Ball Arena, achieving his 144th career triple-double early in the third quarter. This performance further solidified his reputation as one of the most versatile players in the league.

Jamal Murray added 21 points to the Nuggets' tally, while Russell Westbrook contributed 16 points, ensuring a solid win for Denver. The victory helps maintain the Nuggets' position in the Western Conference, where they currently hold the fourth spot with a 19-13 record.

On the opposing side, the Atlanta Hawks were led by Trae Young, who secured 17 points and 9 assists. The Hawks are positioned seventh in the Eastern Conference with an 18-16 record, highlighting the competitive nature of this season's standings.
