Ankara: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan spoke with his US counterpart Marco Rubio by phone on Monday and discussed the latest developments in Syria and the humanitarian situation in Gaza, diplomatic sources said.

According to Anadolu Agency, Fidan and Rubio also addressed efforts to establish a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine. The conversation reflects ongoing diplomatic engagements aimed at addressing multiple international conflicts and humanitarian crises.

Fidan and Rubio had previously met on April 3 in Brussels during a NATO foreign ministers meeting, indicating continued dialogue between the two nations on these critical issues.
