Simaisma: The Trump Organization has announced a significant investment of $3 billion in the Simaisma Project in Qatar.
According to Anadolu Agency, this investment marks the Trump Organization's first real estate venture in Qatar, with the project being developed in collaboration with Qatari Diar and DarGlobal, a subsidiary of the Trump Organization.
Qatari Diar and DarGlobal have signed a strategic agreement to develop a luxury resort project in the Simaisma area, located approximately 40 kilometers north of Doha. The development will feature the 'Trump International Golf Club' and 'Trump Villas,' and will span a vast area of about 790,000 square meters. The project will include an 18-hole international standard golf course, a Trump Golf Club building, and luxury branded villas with beach access.
The agreement was formalized at a ceremony held at Qatari Diar's headquarters in Lusail, attended by Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiya, Qatari minister of municipalities and Chairman of Qatari Diar, and Eric Trump, executive vice president of the Trump Organization. The protocol was signed by Ali Mohammed Al-Ali, CEO of Qatari Diar, and Ziad El Chaar, CEO of DarGlobal.
Eric Trump expressed pride in introducing the Trump brand to Qatar, highlighting this collaboration with DarGlobal as a significant step in the organization's global expansion. He emphasized that the Trump International Golf Club, along with the exclusive villa community, will reflect the quality and prestige associated with the Trump name.
Ziad El Chaar of DarGlobal also expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, noting that the project would elevate ultra-luxury coastal living in the region. The development is expected to become a cultural landmark along the Simaisma coastline and will feature a $5.5 billion theme park, 'Land of Legends Qatar,' as well as 16 tourism zones, a marina, and a variety of restaurants and shops.
The project aligns with Qatar's 2030 National Development Vision, focusing on enhancing the tourism and entertainment sectors while promoting sustainability through smart construction technologies and recycled materials. The 'Land of Legends Qatar' is anticipated to be one of the largest theme parks in the Middle East, further establishing the Simaisma Project as a key landmark in Qatar's development strategy.
