Jerusalem: US President Donald Trump's envoy for hostage affairs, Adam Boehler, and the parents of Israeli-American captive Edan Alexander arrived in Israel on Monday ahead of his expected release from Gaza. Boehler's arrival signifies a critical moment in ongoing negotiations for the release of hostages held by Hamas.

According to Anadolu Agency, Alexander is anticipated to be released at 6.30 pm local time in Khan Younis city in southern Gaza. The plan includes the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) facilitating Alexander's transfer from Khan Younis to Israeli forces, ensuring a safe passage during this critical operation.
