Tel Aviv: At least 35 Israelis were injured by Iranian retaliatory ballistic missiles targeting multiple areas across Israel, an Israeli newspaper reported. Two of the injured are in critical condition.

According to Anadolu Agency, the newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth detailed that among the injured, four are in moderate condition, nine in light-to-moderate condition, and 21 are lightly injured. Emergency teams are actively working at the impacted sites, with efforts ongoing in the affected areas, as reported by Israel's Army Radio.

The Magen David Adom emergency service has confirmed that seven individuals have been injured in the attacks thus far. The Israeli military indicated that dozens of missiles were launched from Iran, prompting air defense systems to intercept them.

Alarms sounded across Israel due to the missile launches, including in major cities such as Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Haifa, putting the nation on high alert. Yedioth Ahronoth reported that Iran launched about 100 ballistic missiles toward Israel. Channel 14 confirmed that one missile hit Tel Aviv, causing smoke to rise from the impact site.

Additionally, Israeli Army Radio reported a fire near the Defense Ministry's headquarters in Tel Aviv following the missile strike. Israel had earlier launched a significant attack, using around 200 aircraft to target Iran's nuclear program and missile capabilities, resulting in the deaths of senior Iranian military officials and nuclear scientists.

In response, Iran has vowed "severe punishment" and has called for an emergency UN Security Council meeting to hold Israel accountable for its actions.
