Kyiv: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced Saturday that Kyiv has signed new agreements with international partners to boost joint arms production, including long-range weapons and interceptor drones, as Russian attacks continue.

According to Anadolu Agency, Zelenskyy stated in a video address that there will be increased protection for life in Ukraine. He emphasized the scaling up of joint arms production with international partners, focusing on long-range weapons to curb Russia's aggressive actions and interceptor drones to safeguard Ukrainian citizens.

Zelenskyy highlighted a new agreement reached this week with a US company for the production of drones. Additionally, a significant agreement was signed with Denmark, marking the first foreign coproduction of weapons for Ukraine. He expressed gratitude to those supporting Ukraine's military-industrial complex and enhancing their own defense capabilities.

This announcement is part of Ukraine's ongoing efforts to secure more weapons and expand domestic production in response to Russia's continued military aggression, now entering its fourth year.
