Gaza: At least 57,418 Palestinians have been killed in Israel's ongoing conflict with the Gaza Strip since October 2023, the Health Ministry reported on Sunday. A ministry statement revealed that 80 bodies were brought to hospitals in the last 24 hours, while 304 people were injured, bringing the total number of injuries to 136,261 in the ongoing Israeli onslaught.

According to Anadolu Agency, many victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the roads as rescuers struggle to reach them. The ministry also indicated that eight Palestinians were killed and over 40 injured while attempting to secure humanitarian aid in the last 24 hours. This brings the total number of Palestinians killed while seeking aid to 751, with over 4,931 others wounded since May 27.

The Israeli army resumed its attacks on the Gaza Strip on March 18, resulting in the deaths of 6,860 people and injuries to 24,220 others, effectively breaking a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement established in January. The conflict escalated despite the International Criminal Court issuing arrest warrants last November for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, citing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
