Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index opened Thursday at 11,378.44 points, marking an increase of 0.34%, or 38.34 points, from the previous close.

According to Anadolu Agency, on Wednesday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 saw a rise of 0.44%, closing at 11,340.10 points, with a daily transaction volume reaching 141 billion Turkish liras, equivalent to $3.28 billion.

As of 9.50 am local time (0650GMT), the exchange rates were recorded at 42.8425 liras to the US dollar, 50.5765 to the euro, and 58.0065 to the British pound. Additionally, the price of an ounce of gold was noted at $4,479.35, while Brent crude oil was trading at $61.80 per barrel.
