Paris: Israel's flag carrier, El Al Airlines, has withdrawn its personnel from the French capital, Paris, after an attack on its office. The attack involved the outer door of the office being spray-painted with red graffiti symbolizing blood, along with inscriptions reading 'Free Palestine' and 'El Al Genocide Airline.'

According to Anadolu Agency, the incident was discovered while the building was empty, ensuring there was no danger to the airline's employees, as noted in a statement by El Al Airlines. The Israeli Foreign Ministry has condemned the act and urged the French government to hold the perpetrators accountable and ensure the safety of El Al's staff and offices.

Transportation Minister Miri Regev suggested that the attack might be linked to recent announcements by French President Emmanuel Macron regarding the recognition of a Palestinian state. The incident comes amid rising tensions over Israel's military actions in Gaza, which have resulted in over 61,200 deaths since October 2023 and left the region on the brink of famine.

In related developments, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, citing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
